I am a writer and gardener based in Seattle, Washington. My writing focuses on plants, gardening, nature, and how they enrich our lives. See a selection of my writing in “Published articles.”

I have worked as a gardener and public garden administrator for 25 years. I have a BS in Horticulture and a MS in Museology from the University of Washington.

One of my goals in writing is to connect with people who also love plants and gardening. It is a wonderful hobby (and career path!) and I find gardeners love to talk plants and can always learn from each other. Feel free to connect with me to talk more about writing, plants, or gardening in Seattle.
